Journey to Paris

July 12th, 2011 by kellis
So I’m pretty sure that the past few weeks were merely a series of dreams, the most wondrous and captivating of dreams. I spent the last 14 days in Paris. While I was there I saw the most beautiful people and architecture, ate the finest foods, hung out in cafes for hours, sat in parks, sipped on espresso, snacked on many macaroons, people watched at haute couture fashion shows, and drank plenty of champagne.
I wanted my outfits to be simple and classic. I’m a sucker for stripes and wore them almost everyday with essential accessories such as Ray-Ban sunglasses and a straw hat (which I bought at a really darling hat boutique in the Marais called Celine Roberts).
Below are some polaroids I took on my trip. Enjoy!
XO,
Kirby

Kirby Ellis

Born and raised in Seattle, Kirby has been a creative soul since he could hold a crayon. His love of fashion surfaced early on as well. Barely out of diapers, he once kissed his Aunt's Prada shoes, while she was still in them. These days Kirby is influenced by culture, theatre, film, music, religion and how they all blend or crash to create fashion trends, icons and his own point of view. In his second year at Seattle University, Kirby is majoring in Strategic Communications and Film Studies. To keep his fingers on the pulse of the public fashion beat, Kirby works in the retail industry at American Apparel. But, as a gifted freelance photographer and self confessed fashion addict, his true love is his unique fashion blog, Dressed for Tea.
