Recently viewed the showing of Cryptomenagerie: Michael Alm, Jody Joldersma, Zoë Williams at Vermillion, on Capitol Hill. As described on the website, “Cryptomenagerie brings together three Seattle artists who have a fantastic interpretation of an imaginary animal world.” It certainly is an interesting juxtaposition of cute and familiar with creepy and surreal. Make sure you have a drink in hand; I’m sure you’ll need it. Show runs until the 3rd of July.
